Top Sites for Best Bargains:
- Lulu’s: Best site for those trendy, edgy items that are so hot at the moment. Think skinny jeans, studded accessories, burnout tees, froufrou dresses, hobo bags. Because it is so affordable, you don’t feel guilty when the look goes out with the season.
- Forever21: Another trendy site that is even cheaper than Lulu’s. You may have to search through some garbage to get to the hottest looks, but once spotted, obsession occurs. Great site for mocking those hot designer duds at a fraction of the $.
- Twelve by Twelve: A sister site to Forever21 with a flashy, glamourous look. Embellished sweaters and dresses of fun textures and fabrics highlight this line. Prices are slightly higher than Forever but barely noticeable.
- Hautelook: Sample sales happen everyday at 11am e.t. They showcase a handful of designer brands each day, but have an endless variety to rotate. Tip: for the brands you really love, log on right when the sales open so nothing will have sold out.
- Ruelala: Another sample sale site, but this one includes more creative options, such as sales on hotel rooms and vacations and home goods. Don’t worry clothes are a main focus here, and they have sales daily at 11am e.t.
- Gilt Fuse: A division of Gilt Group, a high-end online sample sale, this site is more affordable and relaxed. Brands include French Connection, Juicy, Black Halo, etc. Sales start at 12pm e.t. and accessories are abundant as well.
- Ebay: A site everyone knows, but few utilize. I have found BCBG, French Connection, Tibi, Tory Burch, and so much more for dirt cheap! One must be dedicated to browsing often and keeping liked options on your My Ebay tab for easy bidding/watching. I enjoy checking out the “ending soonest” tab to see what no one has snagged.
- Etsy: All items on this website are handmade and a great way to add a unique touch to an outfit. Jewelry is ornate, unique, and often cheap in price. Some even look like you paid hundreds at a department store or upscale boutique.
- Urban Outfitters: Great clothes with a hip, urban feel that are surprisingly affordable. Some items can get steep, such as outerwear and dresses, but those you’ve been eyeing will end up in the sale category in time. Sales are often and inclusive of all types of merchandise.
- Anthropologie: Their regular clothes are on the expensive side, but they have blowout sales where sweaters, pants, shirts, and dresses go for as low as $9.95.
